I installed .113 last night
everything went smoothly but contacts were gone

I have tried to restore, and also the advanced restore

yes i did do a back up before installing the new OS

Any other ideas as to how to get my contacts back?
Is there something I am missing?

When I click the contacts folder, BB button, options, the default # says 219, which is the number of contacts I had...

What am I not doing?

Give this a try: Open the Setup Wizard and select Import SIM Card contacts.

Same thing happen to me. I lost the contact list and apps after 113
I uninstalled DM and reinstalled it and tried restored again and it came back

the same thing happened to me only I wasn't installing 113. I tried your suggestion and nothing. Verizon loaded the contacts from my old phone onto my storm, and last night I used desktop manager to try and load from my windows mail. Now they are all gone except still showing 209 like OP said. Any other ideas?

I fixed the prob, hopefully this will help someone else...

As it turns out, the contacts did transfer after the restore, only I noticed something I had not noticed before..

There were 2 types of contact lists, personal and business...I deleted both of those and left it to default, and contact list is back to normal.

click on contacts, bb button, options, contact lists, deleted personal and business since i did not have any contacts saved in those lists.
