Why is it when i set a contact alert with a ringtone, or a ringtone for a message, and the active profile is on, i will set the main phone to vibrate only. But when that person with a ringtone writes me, the ring tone still goes off in vibrate mode?
Could this be a software issue?
This is a known issue with certain Storm OS's - if you try searching the forums you'll find a ton of info about it. What OS aer you running? You can either upgrade the OS to .85 or .86 or create a custom profile and set all tones to vibrate in the profile. Choose that profile to be active when you want the phone to vibrate only instead of the actual "vibrate only" profile.
