Has anyone noticed that everything that used to be a bright blue on their Storm 1 is now a darker blue/purple on their Storm 2's? Or is that just mine?

Mine seems to be the same way , im thinking they did it because of the "color banding" issues , and with darker blues its harder to notice

I'm going to compare it to my brothers Storm 2 tomorrow and see if there is any difference. With my Storm 1 I noticed that when I received a replacement the screen colors were much more vivid and brighter on the new one vs. my old one.

I know my S2 on 10% brightness is just as bright as my S1 on 100%.

My s2 is brighter and crisper than my s1. So the screen dimming in landscape mode is less of an issue, not that it was really an issue to me at all anyways.

i kind of figured out a way to get past the screen diming atleast on my phone , if i open the keypad it portrait then rotate my phone clockwise , the screen stays bright and then i can rotate right again to have it facing the other way in landscape with a bright screen.

but if i rotate left first ... no go .. lol
