clock in bedside mode will not stay on
- hello all,
basiclly iv been reading that in bedside mode you can get the clock to stay on (dimmed) while charging.
however i found a problem...
This works only if i disable the password propt, as certin people have a habbit of picking my phone up when its on the side i like to keep it the password protection enabled.
What i was wanting is the display the clock when in bedside mode without turning the screen off while still keeping the password protection enabled. Is this possible?
cheers,
Phil07-01-10 03:50 PMLike 0 - I don't know about the password protection, but with Patternlock 2.0, I have this same issue. The phone will go into bedside mode then after 20 seconds, have the pattern lock screen displayed.07-01-10 04:03 PMLike 0
- Mine stays on all night dimmed and I have the password enabled.
Here are my settings:
Clock Face: LCD Digital
Home Time Zone: Central
When Charging: Enter Bedside Mode
Dismiss Clock Automatically: Yes
Restrict To Certain Hours: Yes
From:10:30 pm
To: 6:00 am
blah blah blah
Bedside Mode
Disable LED: Yes (this doesn't make sense, I know")
Disable Radio: No
Sound Profile: Night (to rec calls and sms, no emails")
Hope this helps.
Good Luck07-01-10 05:15 PMLike 0 - im also running .713, think it could be a bug....
at the moment im just having to disable my password at night which is a pain07-02-10 03:07 AMLike 0 - Mind stay on all night with the password enabled and I'm running .713. This might be a silly question, but you have it plugged in charging, right?

Makes sense to me...I don't like my LED flashing during the night. Or are you saying it's redundant with the night profile?07-02-10 12:13 PMLike 0 -
