Yeah that happened to me the whole time I had .75 installed. When checking the status it would say 100% but the bolt would still be there. Newer OSs correct this problem.

Agree with wayfr. I used to always see the lightning bold at 100%. It stopped doing that on some OS upgrade I made, but I can't remember which one. If your still on .75, you really need to go to .148. It's a world of difference.

if you are new to the storm, you need to charge the battery for a full 15-16 hours TWO to THREE times, that'll break in the battery and the lightning bolt will go away on future charges

Don't be scared of the "unofficial" OS builds. Just because your carrier doesn't see fit to release it, doesn't mean it isn't quality. The Noob guide can walk you through it.

    1 more suggestion:

Clock > menu > options > clock > when charging > do nothing.

I know when I got my Storm I didn't charge it all the way, that was almost 6 months ago. I know at this point it should have gone away. I always have the bolt.

I was in your same position. I downloaded the 4.7.0.148 and had it go to my desktop. What I didn't do was actually run it. I didn't run it and followed the instructions and got the DM open and the phone plugged in and then ran the app. Wrong. Run the app first - it puts it in the DM available OS. Open DM and update. It runs like an OEM update - actually very simple.

Easy, turn on the status light indicator and wait till it goes solid green, then turn the indicator off...that way you know the phone is fully charged...that is if you have .75....I personally like the blinking status indicator....

Keep doing battery pulls and download the newest unofficial OS. They're safe. I know, I was skeptical at first too

I have the issue with this latest Storm. Put it on the charger and the status light shows the charging colors (redish/green) and with previous Storms would go solid green when it was finished charging. For some reason this Storm doesn't do that...it just keeps showing the redish green charging lights....but if I go into the status menu it shows the battery at 100%....is this a common .75 issue? Or is it the phone itself?
