Anyone actually use this app at a retailer yet? Currious if they scan well and if the merchants balk at scanning off your phone instead of the actual card.

I have not used this particular app, but have used some in the past that take a "picture" of your actual barcode and then import it in the phone.

This one seems a little different in that you input the numbers and it generates a barcode. Same principal just different way.

I know when I have tried others, that when they say "it won't work on flatbad scanners" this is pretty accurate. I downloaded the app, because I dislike carrying all the cards with me and always forget the one I need.

Whether it works or not is iffy at times....

The iphone has had cardstar for a while ( only aspect of my fiancés iphone I am jealous of) and it seems to work fine everywhere. Never had a problem with csr's scanning it either; all they do is brag how neat the app is and say that it makes them want to go get a smartphone.

I haven't tried it yet, hope it works.... 3.6 mb on a storm 1 is kinda expensive tho.

Loving this program. Cleared more cards out of my wallet than I even knew I had. I hope it scans as well is it looks like it should.

Nice program, But, too big of foot print. Only 5 cards on the program, & it took up 4.5 MB of space!!!

It was a big file even before adding any cards. I've added three and it won't let me add anymore

***apparently they are there even thought they are not listed. When I try to re-enter it says that the title is already in use? But I don't see it listed.

I like the app...and the concept, but looking at how much memory its using, I downloaded, and then uninstalled. Way too much memory usage for me.

As someone else mentioned you can take a screen cap of each card then delete the app to save on memory.

Yes. I figured out that some of my cards have numbers to the left, and right of the barcode and the numbers under it. So I added these numbers and now the barcodes show up. Specifically, Stop and Shop and ****'s Sporting Goods. I hope this helps out.

I am in Thailand that they don't have any of the merchants I have loyalty cards with. When I add them manually I cannot get the barcode generated to look like the one on the loyalty card no matter what symbology I select. I suspect there are additional numbers or info added to the barcode not show in the member number. The program should have the ability to scan your loyalty card to add it, rather than just entering the number and having to select the symbology.
