I have a Verizon 9530 since december and I did my first BB update to .90 as soon as I could and everything has been fine. A few days ago I downloaded the Appleberry theme and started to get java problems, I guess the hybrids versions I started seing after that was to update those Java files.
Anyways. I now either need to update Java or upgrade my OS, but I plugged my phone and DM tells me there's nothing to update, I tried the AppLoader and can't find details on the system or core applications to update. Adding the blackberry.alx didn't work either. Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah I had the same problem. You need to go into your program files, find the Research in Motion and delete the last thing listed there. If I remembered what it was I'd tell you what exactly it was. Look on the second page of the how to and you will find the answer.

BB Device Software v4.6 for 8320 (I have another BB)
BB Device Software v4.7 for 9530

Then I have (for software testing purposes)
    BB Email and MDS Simulator
    BB Smartphone Simulator

What do you mean with look in second page?

Well... that seems to have done it. Disconnecting from the internet and deleting the vendors.xml file from the loader folder. It's starting up right now, so hope I didn't break it
