I am running the leaked .83 OS so it might just be that. I can't add a folder to the home screen. I click "add folder" and I can type the folder name, but when I hit add or even cancel nothing happens. I have to use the back button to get back to the home screen.

ANyone else on .83 have this issue?

I've experienced this issue and found that if I switch to landscape and hit OK, it works. Give that a shot and let me know.

and whats even stranger is my keyboard doesn't show up in the add folder menu after I hit the back button. On top of that when I hit the BB menu button nothign happens. WTF!? May just have to go back to .75.

Update:

I did 3 back to back battery pulls and after the 3rd one and turing the phone in landscape, I was able to add the folder.

No I think it is just a software issue. I have had the same issue with .75, .83 and .85. Very strange no one caught this at RIM.
