Telus and Bell are now offering .109 OFFICIALLY!

i got it directly from the BB site :P

alright now let us have .150 GC

I saw ruffhunter in a thread posted that there is an official .109 release for Bell and Telus on the blackberry web site. I did go to the blackberry website for myself and saw that you can download a OS v.109 for Bell. I am wondering if other carrier users can use there .109 update or do we have to wait for ours (mine being verizon??)

    Thanks for the help

sorry this link is not working like I had hoped, I changed it and here is the new one.

You can use it. Just delete the vendor.xml file before installing.

I believe that this is still the original .76 that the phone launched with or the first update after it did. The .109 is just the package version but the applications are still .76. This has been around forever.

Does the vendor.xml have to be removed from unlocked phones? Also if the update is stable will doing this affect the stability of the update??

    It's version 0.76 (original release), not 0.109

    Don't bother.
