I am trying to do an ota update. I have .65. I have been running a few versions over the past few weeks and wanted to try an ota to 75.

I have wipped the phone with jl commander. Loaded fresh 65 from dm.

I looked at friends storm and he is at 75, but the phone is faster to respond with less application memory. Also 4.7 core applications on his phone has more modules then mine, when I was at 75.

I was thinking to start from 65 and do an ota to see if I can get the 4.7 core modules the same.

This is the error I get

Why not just download .75 from Verizon, delete .65 from you computer, install .75 on you computer and us DM to install .75?

You should end up with the same Core Apps. I recommend doing a back up prior to makin any changes.

What specific Core Apps does your friend have. You know that you can choose the apps you want to install from DM prior to doing the actual install.

What I am referring to is the 4.7 core app and there modules. Not any other apps.

Yes, as part of 4.7 Core Modules, you can choose to not install some items. When DM finds the OS, you will see some options, I believe they are on the upper right of the screen. If you click on one of those, it will give you a list of Core Apps or modules such as languages, some games such as Brickbreaker and Word Mole, etc. You need to check the ones you want to install. For example, I chose not to install VZN Navigator so I did not check it. You need to do this before you install, or after the initial installation, you can go back into DM, select Application Loader and then remove or add modules as you describe them

    Good luck!
