I have been told three different methods to downloading movies to my storm and none of them have worked for me. I have a collection of DVDs on my PC that are the "digital copy" now inserted with new releases. How do I get these on my damn phone????

Turn on mass storage mode, drag and drop to media card.
Options>Memory>Mass Storage Mode>On
Open My Computer, you should see two new drives, one for the device, and the other is the SD card.
If they are the digital copies from DVDs you purchased, I'm not sure that the rights will allow it to play on other devices, plus they are probably a very large file size.
And it's fool proof.
If you want to put the "digital copy" onto your storm you need to remove the DRM. The procedure in the following link is what I used to put 3 digital copies onto my storm.

The problem with foolproof instructions is they just breed a better class of fool. :p
Think of it as a challenge you need to rise to the occasion for. You were able to construct a post here, so I have to assume you're capable of basic deductive and inductive reasoning. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out if you actually sit down and try to figure it out yourself. None of us are born with a deep understanding of how to transfer movie files to a cell phone... We all had to learn. If we can do it, so can you.
