I just got my verizon bb storm and unlocked to work with rogers, im sorry if this is already posted, but the phone keeps freezing. im having to turn it off and back on or do a battery pull. It also slow and takes quiet a while to respond. pls can anyone help me??????

Go to "Options" from homescreen and then click on "About" and let us know what the third line says...

It should look something like this:

v4.7.0.103 (Platform 4.0.0.131)

The last three digits of the first set of numbers represent what OS you are running, for example I am running .103.

Let us know what OS you have, my feeling is .75

yup , your correct, i have v4.7.0.75 i tried doing my research , so decided to try upgrading to .109 but my stupid desktop manager isn't working, does this have anything to do with the fact im using desktop manager install cd from my curve and not the one from my storm because i don't the one that came with my storm???

Download the desktop manager from RIM's website that is made for the Storm.

ok upgraded to .109 still kinda glitchy but it is a bit better. It takes a while to recognize that my finger is on the screen.

Go to Options>Screen Keyboard and try adjusting the Touchscreen items. Mine are set at

Tap Interval 200
HOver Period 100
Swipe Sensitivity (High) 6

Play with these to find the combination that suits you.
