Are there any programs that allow you to use the flash as a flashlight? I use my phone as a flashlight a lot and the flash is much brighter and would be more useful than the screen itself.

there is a flashlight program on the crackberry software portion of the site that works on the storm... It uses the led and changes the front screen to white.. It works as a flashlight. I would really like to have one that uses the flash but I know it will eat up the battery....
or instead of paying for it, you can do like another poster suggested in another thread about this same question, and set up the video camera to always have the flash on and when you open it, you have yourself a flash light.
I have used that a couple times, and it works well.
