Is there a way to call a contact from within the text message they have sent? It is a simple feature that all phones have but it seems the storm won't allow this or am i doing something wrong? For example, my girlfriend sends a text and i cant immediately call her from the text message without going to the phone and dialing her number or using the speed dial feature.

maybe i'm doing something wrong but i cant click on the persons name. i can only click on the date and time header.

yes i must be doing something wrong because i cant touch the contacts name on any of m text messages.

That works from emails, but not texts for me.

it won't actually highlight the name. as long as the date is no loner highlighted, you can hit send.

Touch tha name in the header. It won't highlight although it will get recognized, then hit BB menu button > call.

thanks for all the help but it seems i cant do it. i cant touch the name or anything other than the date header. im running .75 and i can do it from emails but not from the text messages which is what im looking for.

You can touch it. It just doesn't seem like it.

Also try clicking down on the upper left corner of the screen with the message open. Where the name is located. Make aurw nothing is highlighted.

I am on OS .75.

Clicking on the screen opens a new menu which includes a call option while just touching the name requires also hitting the BB menu button.

It is buggy though

It finally worked they way you described it. thanks its very tricky but i finally got it. clicking the upper left corner of the screen and then the bb button worked! thanks
