i cant understand how the phone just delete all my messges and call log. it happened to me two times for now.

you just find out for example sms and call log you can view or have same date , before it just disappeared. i just have msg's and call log since FEB-2, which i had the same phone since DEC-5.

What is your device memory sitting at? If it gets low, the device will clean out old messages, logs, etc. as a self preservation method.

but the question why, and what the heck not having that an option, whic is already there to save msg's for ever. !!!!!

There isn't an option to save the messages forever. Why, is because if the device memory filled up entirely, your device wouldn't work at all.

If you don't want to free up memory be deleting applications, just monitor your status or memory in your options folder and do battery pulls periodically throughout the day...

This is going to sound really stupid, but I was having a similar problem when I first picked the device up. What happened was that the internal clock was incorrect and when I reset it to the correct time (a month or so ahead) the Storm thought it was time to get rid of all my "old" messages. Not saying it's what's happening to you, but it's possible. Were you messing with the clock at all?
