Never noticed it before, but it appears you are correct. I don't have the call forwarding option either. I never used it before so I never thought to look for it. Very strange.

Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I think call forwarding is an additional service offered by the carrier.
It is, and you can probably still access it using a "*" number, but I think the OP is pointing out the menu option for it is gone from the phone app itself. My old 8330 had a menu that you could choose what number to forward calls to and under what conditions the calls would be forwarded.

*72 plus the number you want to forward to, then send, works.:
*72555-555-5555 SEND
To cancel *73 SEND
On Verizon there is no extra charge for forwarding calls, however the minutes will go against your plan.
I use this feature daily when I switch over to the T-Mobile network while at work. Our buildings are wired for TMobile and VZW just can't pull enough signal inside, so I forward VZW number to T-Mobile number, then change network to TMobile. I have my T-Mobile number set up as Family & Friends.
I use this all the time. I have it set up as contacts -- Office Forward, Home Forward & Forward Cancel. I have been using *720 as the cancel number. Is this wrong? I am on Verizon. I am still waiting for an APP that will unforward for me after a certain amount of time. I sometimes forget to take it off.
