browser and other issues

ok so my phone crashed, couldnt figure out how to fix it so i had my old one re-activated. ok, then i came home and found a genius link on rebooting a nuked blackberry and it worked like a charm. only problem is now i have no browser icon or visual voicemail. is that just because i have no connection? also my computer wont recognize it to restore with backed up memory is that all the same cause? sorry for the drawn out post but its been bugging me. thanks

thanks... it solved it for me... didint fix it but it answered my question. its cause i dont have service on it right now. cause i have no routing table entries.
