ok, so i downloaded and installed the new .113. my browser was there at the begniing. then i restored my contacts etc from the backup information, and now my browser isnt there!!! someone pleas help!!
jesus - also just noticed that the "app center" thing is gone as well!! not the "applications" folder, but the application center folder...what the fudge!?
....why did i need to do that by the way (so i can understand for the future)...?
It's called "Pulling a NOOB". Sometimes it happens. You wouldn't have panicked if you would have read what to expect from normal update behavior prior to just jumping in blind. Lesson learned I think...

I am a noob...with that being said I too have lost my browser and the application center.
I tried going into options > advanced options > host routing table but once there i only see codes that look like this....
