Does anyone have any suggestions? I am new to BB so I am not even sure what is out there for BB, let alone for the storm.

also, I searched Handango and couldn't find NAB (New American Bible) Bible translation. anyone know of one for BB?

I challenge you to read the Skeptic's Annotated Bible. Skeptic's Annotated Bible / Quran / Book of Mormon
Youll read about all the things they don't want you to know in church.

I just downloaded the FREE Bible reader from Olive Tree and then paid $5 for the KJV and it is working GREAT on the Storm. They have most translations.

I like AcroBible. Clean, easy to navigate and can bookmark, annotate. Also has reading plan support.

I challenge you to read some real Christian scholars. Here is a start:

    Reasonable Faith:
Jesus and the Inspiration of Scripture

You may read all about things the religious zealots of secular humanism and scientism don't want you to know.

I tried the YouVersion Bible reader. It is an app that gets the pages from versions hosted on the web. They seem to have about 16 translations hosted plus in several languages. I downloaded it from YouVersion Bible Application for Blackberry Mobile Phones and PDAs and chose 9000 Bold for the model. They are suppose to have a fully Storm compatible version soon.

But the Bold version works fine in Potrait mode with Compatability Mode set. All the menuing and ICONS and Suretype keyboard work well.

Or with the Compatability mode OFF it works in Portrait mode or Landscape mode with a little glitch. In this mode the little icons do not work. They always seem to default to READ. But you can still do all the functions by using MENU - READ, SEARCH, DAILY READ, CONTRIBS (comentaries), BOOKS, SHARE etc all from the BB MENU button. It works well and you can flip between translations without losing your place in a chapter.

Here are the current English Versions:

    Amplified Bible
    American Standard Version
    Contemporary English Version
    English Standard Version
    GOD'S WORD Translation
    Holman Christian Standard Bible
    King James Version
    The Message
    New American Standard Bible
    New Century Version
    New English Translation
    New International Version
    New King James Version
    New Living Translation
    Today's New International Version
    Word English Bible

And best part is that it is totally free, not just a free trial. But you do have to have web/network access to read with it. It is pretty fast and easy to use.

And it is a true OTA app.

Look, the OP just asked for a Bible reader. No one wants to get into a debate about religion, and if you're really hankering for one, head on over to the CB social forums.

Seriously. You're gonna tick a LOT of people off.
