    I found this on the Blackberry official Website. Does this mean its actually supported on the GSM network in general or that it will actually work with a GSM carrier?
    Help! Otherwise this would be huge.

    Yes, it works on GSM networks. I am on one right now as I am traveling in Asia.

    That's tricky to answer. Voice on the Verizon's 9530 variant of the Storm will work on all GSM carriers, regardless of location. 3G data on the Verizon 9530 variant of the Storm will only work on European GSM carriers. EDGE data on the Verizon 9530 variant of the Storm will work on North American GSM carriers
