that is awesome and looks so sexy,
this may sound stupid, but this has to be one of my favorite features, the dock looks sexy, even if it costs extra i will buy it, not only it is a sexy looking phone but its sexy as an alarm clock too.

    heres more pictures:

Definitely the coolest looking dock for a BB. The clock is the same as the one on the Bold & is really smart.

I don't think I'd use it that way. I have a history of not getting along well with alarm clocks after rough nights and an hour or two of sleep.

I dont know if I am going to use it like that only because I use BBSmart Alarms Pro as my alarm. It really is a great program. If the Blackberry alarm is better this time around, then maybe.

I like it. Might be time to replace my 25 year old Sony cube alarm clock (can't believe it still works).

What are the numbers on the bottom of the phone?

    "10042"????

I plan on getting the dock, but it all depends on how much it is.

Looks to me like RIM/Verizon engraved serial numbers in their demo/trial phones. Someone, somewhere has a list and knows who was issued phone #10042.

I would definately use it as an alarm clock, but only if the screen turns itself off after 15 seconds or so while it's on the base. Does anyone know if it will do this? I don't want the screen to be on all night as I like it really dark in our bedroom.

My question is do you think the dock will be capable of being used as a cradle so you can sync with your computer or will we have to just use the mini usb?

I wonder if I told RIM about it if I could become a tester - :P

I figured it was some sort of tracking number.

#10042 has been whored around quite a bit. It's been around the block a few times. lol I'm surprised you guys just now noticed the numbers... go back and take a look at all the review pics of the phone. You'll see it's there on those pics as well.

Also if you look at those pics, you can see the actual phone number of that device. Anyone willing to call it and see what the sound quality is like and ask whoever answers how they like the storm?

lol, do it. Just introduce yourself as a future Storm ownder who wanted to make sure call quality was satisfactory.

Don't forget to block caller id by dialing *67+number or through the phone's options.
