Besides the Password Feature and other 3rd Party Apps such as StormLock is there a better Security App out there? Does RIM allow the lock button to be used for 3rd Party lock apps? The password feature is nice but the reason why I don't use it is because it's hard to unlock it when I text while driving a stick...The Storm slider lock app is nice too but I don't want anyone to be able to unlock it.
no RIM does not give developers access to the lock button or the abilitly to override the send and endbutton on the phone. its actually a security feature because they do not want people making apps that will lock up your phone. so for now we are stuck with the normal locking app...
