Hello crackberry users i have my storm 2 and im loving it, im currently running on .428 with seanren78 v.6 hybrid over it and i like it, i've tried many lirycidals hybrids with .451 and with .517( they are good but not as good as v.6) and tried the .607 alone but they all seemed too laggy especially .607 for me it is crap image viewer very slow and apps were too laggy also.
i want to hear other opinions, which OS you're running ? do you have a hybrid on top of it ? which one ?
What are you talking about? I made a call earlier to check my account balance and had no issues with the number pad. I had to enter my password and several other things mid call without any issue. What problems are you having?

I can switch from the dial pad to home screen or switch to the 4 buttons (speaker phone etc) but when i press # or any of the numbers (to get in my voicemail) nothing works. It all started after downloading .607
besides that, 607 is great!
I'm a CB newbie too but long time BB user (on number 4) and with the help of some of the pro's here on CB downloaded .607 and no worries with mine so far. And that was from the stock OS I think it was .320
I have two problems with .607 which make me say .517 is better/best I've tried so far... (I've only tried RIM Leaks/Officials, no hybrids)...
1. Screen click has changed. It now takes very little pressure to click the screen, and I'm errant clicks when I didn't want to.
2. QuickPull Lite (downloaded fresh from app center, not restored from backup) doesn't properly reboot the device. NOTE: Quickpull acts the same on my new 9700 with .586, so its not just related to Storm2's OS.
The browser in .607 is noticeably faster which is the only thing keeping me from going back... But its not enough... I hope to roll back before too long... because the screen click/feel is most important to me.
I haven't tried .607 yet...I use .517, which was good, EVERYTHING seemed faster; but then I "added" OOAK's .591 Hybrid on top of it and now my S2 is GREAT...faster in all aspects and no issues so far. When I dial a number, the phone is ringing before I can get it to my ear! Signal strength is better, sounds much better, no dropped calls. Media brings up the pictures immediately, no thumbnail icons that slowly turn into pictures. But if you only want to use official or leaks, .517 is good.

this is basically the way mine has always felt and it does feel even lighter on this OS. I kept saying that if many of the people would update to the leaks many would have less screen issues and not need to do the exchange. I think RIM might have overcorrected now on the software side if people have updated screens
I know its crazy but I've been running .451 for a long time now and haven't felt the need to upgrade. The differences in the OS are so slight now compared to my Storm 1 days having to reconfigure my apps to change OS just doesn't seem worth it.
.607 if you don't use bbm or Opera Mini. If you use either of those then I'd go with .451 or .517. I'm on .517 now, but used both and could never tell any difference between the two.
