I got mine on the release date at Best Buy. I still have my original receipt. I am going to up there tomorrow and see if I can persuade my way into a free Blue Tooth set.

They were giving away the free bluetooth headset ($50 value) but it cannot be combined with verizon's pricing.

So if you wanted them to honor your NE2 or your VIP discount they wouldnt give you the bluetooth at the same time.

Since my NE2 was worth $100 I took the NE2 over a crappy $50 bluetooth.

And with that extra $50, I went to Oakley on black friday and picked up a pair of sunglasses with a Motorola bluetooth attachment for $49. Couldn't beat that deal...

if you paid 199. then you will get the bluetooth...

but if you had a NE2, that would take 50 to 100 off the 199 to bring the price down to 99 to 149 then they wouldnt give you the bluetooth, or if you had a $50 VIP then they wouldnt give you the bluetooth.

I bought mine on release day and no one said anything about it. When I went back for my replacement yesterday and asked about it they gave it to me no questions asked. Its not great, but its free so no complaints.

Thats the exact one that they were giving away with the Storm. The promotion was for the 28th and 29th of November only. Put a $50 deposit down on mine on 25th and picked it up three days later. Definitely better than waiting until mid December going straight through Verizon.

i preordered and bought mine from bestbuy the day it came out. i paid $200 for the two year plan and also got a free bluetooth. i dont use it so ill probably ebay it
