I have one more question. Is there a program or something I need to delete the vendor file? I didn't have to do it when the .122 was originally released.
Go to C:\ProgramFiles\CommonFiles\ResearchInMotion\Applo ader and delete the Vendor.xml file then double click on the Loader.exe file in the same folder

instructions are in the first post.

Good thing this is a findings thread....4 pages and not one damn finding aside from "oh im downloading".....

EDIT: The CB home page has the tread listed as the "Findings" thread not the "download" thread.

why so negative, we are getting the full install, an I didn't see finding anywhere on this thread, there is a different one titled findings though.

An get over yer bad self as slow as this thing is going the only finding so far has been that the thing is downloading at a snails pace.

ok thank you =) and another question for anyone who has loaded it up already
is this any better than .122/5.0.0 hybrid OS because if its basically the same then i'll just save myself the time of loading up this OS

Pull the space out of the URL, I can't post a link. I guess I didn't already have an account...

Hope it's faster than what I downloaded from RIM. Enjoy.

Is there any negative to a Verizon user DL this ? So, if verizon released their OS upgrade next week will it copy right over the BELL OS upgrade?

Will anything special have to be done to remove the BELL OS upgrade if Verizon updates as well ?

You can use this update. I used my Curve to do a 4.5 update from Bell when it came out. There should be no problems. Make sure you back up your phone incase it gets hosed. You can use the AppLoader to remove the OS when (and if) Verizon releases their updated OS.
