    and i LOVED it when i first got it. but now there seems to be a new problem every day. i think mostly caused by the OS. upgrading, downgrading, nothing ever seems to cure every bug or let it run smoothly like other BB's. i know the Storm is a 1st generation phone so can't complain too much but Verizon won't even help out their disappointed customers.

    i do love using Viigo, Point and IFood Assistant but i wish there were a ton more free apps as promised by Verizon.

    will there ever be a high-tech touchscreen BB that we won't have to upgrade every few months? i never want to leave BlackBerry.

    I couldn't agree with you more. Since December 2009, I am on my fourth Storm replacement from VZW. I've had issues from my contacts being wiped out for no reason, OS crashed and phone wouldn't boot up, the phone getting so hot that I thought the phone was frying. You name it, I've been through it. However, I love my BB and will always have one. It's just frustrating that some of my friends received pamphlets from VZW allowing them to upgrade their Gen 1 Storms to Storm 2 or Droids.

    I have to say that when my upgrade comes, I will probably have to get the new Tour2/Bold 9650.

    agreed GPG, i signed on with my hubby back in Feb '09, he just received a flyer saying he can upgrade to any phone in the store. unfortunately i have to wait til November for some reason. my sis in law has a Tour and adores it!
