    I love the idea of the backlight coming on when you get a txt or email as that is what I am used to from my preBB phones but what about when I get a BBM? I communicate with my boyfriend, best friend, and even dad through BBM so programs such as BBLight do me no good. Anyone willing to come up with a new app or any suggestions?

    and if it would pop up the message right away, not just turn on the screen, not sure if its possible, but i would definitely use it then

    RIM does not allow 3rd party software to monitor BB Messenger (or MMS for that matter) so there is no way to do this.
