I still cannot get the keyboard in BBGroups! I am running 607 with hybrid v643. Can anyone help me find a fix to this??

Some hybrids are suppose to fix it, but I haven't found one yet. I installed a hybrid with the .517 base. That worked for me.

Yeah ^, I suggest you try a .517 hybrid.

The keyboard problem is in the .607 radio file and will not be fixed with a hybrid using the .607 base. You will HAVE to downgrade to .517 to fix it. This has been discussed at length in the various .607 threads.

Go to bbhybrids.net and they have the .517 os to download as well as Lyricidal's latest .692 hybrid that will run with .517.

The groups keyboard issue is with the .607 OS and no hybrid will fix it. If you want it gone then you have to downgrade to .517 or another OS.

After you download this OS and install the hybrid you should have no worries. The groups keyboard should work without any issues.

Or you could use the work around which is hit the menu key > new chat > back key and they keyboard will stay up. I've been using this since 607 dropped though and it is starting to get a little annoying.

I swear, RIM cant fix anything without screwing something else up in the process. Maybe verizon and carriers should release beta OS to crackberry users to test for them BEFORE they release it, so they can get the kinks worked out.

I have never done group chat before on BBM, now I know why my keyboard was giving me a hissy fit when I tried opening it, sometimes it would and other times it would not.

I might just download above, although I am getting tired of downloading OS, I would think RIM would get better at doing OS.

I would be all for Verizon letting Crackberry nation tear to shreds one of their OS before they release it. It would benefit them in the long run and it would be nice to point out all the flaws that they have as well.....
