I downloaded and installed BBCrackman's V6 .148 hybrid with the .90 radio code, etc. For some reason the screen is like permanently darkened, or darker, going from the main screen to the messages and contacts is EXTREMELY sluggish basically just the transition is very sluggish.

Everything about the phone all around... and just to clarify I installed the leaked .148 OS first, then installed the Crackman V6 version shortly after, etc.

Crackman posted that the version with the 90 radio doesn't perform well. It was your choice to install it.

Just go with Lyricidal's .148/5.0.93 hybrid. Great reviews. And absolutely love it.

I'd recommend switching over to the V6 "regular" hybrid as well....give it a few days to a week, then see what you think....

I've been moving around trying various OS's & hybrids, including Lyric's .148 hybrid.....since there is such a wide range of how each person's device reacts to these hybrids and OS's you have to just find what works with your own Storm.....

it doesn't really matter if a bunch of people have fallen in love with a particular OS if it doesn't work good on your device.....that's why there's no reason to pay attention to polls, etc....

I would just recommend swapping out the 90 radio file for the 148 radio file. Lyric's swap a radio can do the job easily for you and I think you will be very pleased with performance of 148 radio vs 90 with this hybrid

I've installed the V6 hybrid with the 148 radio. Working great!

It's been commented, that the .90 radio has some inherit flaws.

I've had both Lyrics .148/5.0 and BBC 6.0 with .148 radio. Both are awesome, and I don't really notice and performance differences between the two. It seems a lot of people are having issues with the
.90 radio code and .148. I'm lucky enough to have Verizon in NYC and I get 4 bars no matter what radio no matter where I am. Even pick up a bar or two on the subway underground sometimes. Verizon definitely makes up for their lack of great devices and screw up's (Storm release without viable OS) with phenominal service in NYC. Plus the 17% discount I get through work doesn't hurt.
