Help, I'm starting to get confused about the two. Do these two apps do the same thing because when I run memory cleaner then check my log file it is still jammed. I use to run log maid but read on here that BB memory cleaner was the same thing but I don't seem to be getting the same results.

Can someone please clarify this for me, thanks.

The built in memory cleaner does not clear the eventlog, it clears any data in memory that may contain personal/private data like the clipboard, messages, etc.

logMaid clears the eventlog, runs the built-in memory cleaner, then runs the runtime garbage collector.

if(life==null) return; for details on logmaid

    Thank you, that clarifies everything

Clearing the event log only gives ~.1 MB of free memory anyways.
