I know this has been covered several times before but I cant seem to get the answer Im looking for. Basically I want to run bb alerts but I cant seem to figure out how to get it running on my phone. Ive tried going to handango, but I cant figure out how to get the downloadable file on the my device
Any ideas?
I got BB Alerts from Handango but I can't remember exactly how it goes. It gives you a zip, right? Unzip it on your computer, and then go to C > Program Files > Common Files > Research in Motion > AppLoader > open Loader.exe while your phone is connected to your comp. It'll let you add programs to the list of the ones on the phone. Navigate to where you unzipped the zip file and pick the BBAlerts file that it finds. Go through the app load process, battery pull, done. You can do it through Desktop Manager too but the program is always MIA on my computer so I use AppLoader directly.
