Can make a whole day without a charge. Even with constant usage. No problems with Weatherbug.

Weatherbug certainly CAN cause battery drain, but I believe (thru my own experimentation) that it has a lot to do with WB settings.

The frequency of the update in WB is one factor, but the more significant one I have found is the My Location option. When set, this drains my battery faster than any other setting. When not using My Location, the battery performs well, even with updates set to 15 min.

My guess is that the My Location option constantly uses the GPS, which must drain the power?

I just had a weird thing happen to me. Every night before going to bed I put my Storm on the dock and charge it over night. Well, last night before falling asleep I noticed that my clock wasn't displaying. Didn't really think anything of till this morning. After taking the phone out of the dock I noticed that the phone was dead. The battery was completely drained. Before putting the phone on the charger it had about 75% left. Even if it wasn't getting power it should have lasted through the night. I'm using .99 and yes the phone was firmly in the dock and yes the dock was plugged in. Any ideas how that could have happened?

I'm glad that its not just me. I experienced something similar, which I shared in post #24 of this thread. Anyone have any clues as to what happened to ZL and me. Thanks

It is very strange. I haven't tried to duplicate the problem. I started to just leave the phone on the entire night on the charger. I am wondering if I can duplicate the problem, by charging overnight with the phone off. But I need my phone during the day.

I was having the same battery drain issue, so I changed Viigo settings to: close on exit(not run in background) and no auto updates. Also GPS is on 911 only

Seems much better now, haven't charged in about 15hrs and i'm at about 66%. Wrote about 10 emails and maybe 20 sms. I also used docs to go to compose a couple of letters

I still think .76 was better for battery life, but I really needed the full keyboard in portrait for a couple of the "not made for storm" apps I use
