I just got my storm, the original background image was the red vzw, i changed it to a different picture from the photo folder - but I cant seem to find where the red vzw image is - where did it go? also, where can i find the picture that is on the storm promos, the grass and tree and sky?
For the love of God, please search or just spend some time reading the info on this site before you post... please.
Go into Pictures just like you did to set the background, but choose Menu/Reset Home Screen Image and your VZW one will come back. The promo pic was a mockup. Someone released a photochop of one that's pretty much identical. Find it, it's on here.... test your skills.

There should be a Grass and sky wallpaper with no logo... I just didn't have time to search for it.
Not even close as to the image used in the VZW promos. Good try though.
