    Argh! No new events (Programs, updates, etc) on the Storm, but even after a reboot, I can't get the things back light to shut off?

    Any suggestions ?! thanks!

    Reboot? How did you do that.... was it a battery pull? If not, that usually solves most problems and glitches.......

    check settings:

    options > screen/keyboard > Backlight Brightness > check Backlight Timeout and Auto Dim Backlight

    In the past few days, users that recently went to .148 had issues with this and one of the screen lock programs... I think it might have been slide to unlock...

    Only solution was to remove that 3rd party program.

    Civic you talking about stormslider?
    I have that app and am having some crazy battery life issues w/ my storm after the 148 update. nothing has changed on my bb too.
