I agree, and although some may not "have the time" or "are too lazy" you can skim through a couple of pages using the find feature on your web browser to find certain terms pertaining to your problems or your likes. It's not that hard, but then again we were all n0obs at one point lol

Because not everyone can do it through DM. Some have to do it OTA. They don't have a choice.

I agree with the OP. It's bad enough when we have a leak, this has gotten out of control.

I think the problem is the lack of experience. While many of these people may have been either unaware, or just concerned about what would happen downloading a leaked OS there just seems to be so many people having the same problems.

I say to these people that had you have tried a leaked OS in the first place you would have had some experience and would have learned what to expect and what not to expect when you are doing an upgrade. A good example of this are people posting because of the 5 minutes or so that it takes for the final reset. People think they are stuck, unplugging their devices and coming over here to cry to us about it.

Another thing it would be helpful if you read how to actually do a OS download before you attempted to do it. All the instructions are in the NOOB sticky along with what and how you should back up (including app backup).

haha i know, its ok that new people come here but it bugs me to create a thread for just a simple question that has already been asked like 50 times in the main thread started, if anything its simple to search!

After having OS 148 for a week, I can say with confidence that I will be downgrading back to 122. I had no issues with 122, and I will probably keep it until the Tour comes out. Issues with 148:
    • Slow heptic response
    • constant freezing
    • Dropped calls

Absolutely Agree on that. Didn't like .148 when I upgraded drop the hybrid on Stable, Smooth and just plain quick. To me it was the difference of night and day with .148
