Ok I've looked everywhere that mobile crackberry will let me while away from home....... My calendar events keep deleting even though I have it set to "keep appointment forever" I use my appointments as a shift log at work and is very important I keep them as long as possible. Is there a known cause/solution

It depends on how much memory is left on your phone. what OS are you using? the one you have might not be managing your memory most efficiently.

Have you considered using google sync and creating a google calendar? That way

    1) they're saved forever

    2) save room on your device

    3) redundant storage in case something happens

Look into it if you haven't?

Btw, calendar events and OS/memory management isn't the first conclusion I'd draw. I'd suggest confirming settings, checking RIM's KB for similar issues, check for 3rd party apps that could be getting in the way, etc.

Exactly lmao. I was like even if cx really did need help, it probably would hurt his image that he asked for help publicly rather than pm.

What is your device and app memory out of curiosity. Also what OS are you running? Could be a corrupt data.

I running .148 .... my app memory available is 8.6 MB ...... Ive tried Google sync but stopped using after itkept duplicating and even tripling my calender events. I still have it installed just havent used it in quite sometime If i cant find a solution i will definately be ging back to it again. I do sync it with Microsoft Outlook 2007 but the problem with that is if im away from my PC for a few days and I happen to forget to sync it the next time I'm near it thats ALWAYS when the appointments go poof!

well with 8.6 memory that no wonder your appointments go poof. You need to delete unnecessary applications on your phone and if you upgrade to a newer OS you get better memory management

Whats a good number for app memory? I got rid of a few things I dont use anymore, thinking maybe the two themes I have might be bogging it down. I ca only use one theme at a time and since I won the premium theme I dont use the freebie ne anymore anyways. Need to find .151 when I look for an update with the phone it says I have the latest version.

My apps Im running by the way:
    Viggo
    ScoreMobile
    BerryBuzz 2.0
    QuickPull
    NHL Mobile

that is not many apps, what do you have for memory after a battery pull

my guess is Viigo taking you memory down fast but it starts plenty high
