Does anyone have any effective means of managing memory with a leaked OS? I am running .85 and it seems like I have a memory leak or something. After a bat pull, I have between 25 and 30 mb available. Over time it dwindles to half of that.

I use talk lock and my IM clients (Google Talk, BB, and AIM) stay on.

    Any ideas?

Having those Apps stay on can cause memory leaks. Close them and it should help slightly. Also getting rid of unused applications helps. Example-Help, Memopad, Password Keeper, Docs2go, BrickBreaker, and other stuff you might not use.

I downloaded Quick Pull and scheduled a reset in the middle of every night. Seems to help.

Personally, I wouldn't let myself get too obsessed with those figures. They will go up and down based on your use of the phone. Until your phone starts to become sluggish, I wouldn't worry about the app memory levels.

Having anywhere above 20mb seems to work well and smooth for me.

Search the forum as there are numerous threads about how to maximize memory and they are quite good. Can't miss them.

I use memory up from my old bold, and it works great.
