how significant is the Application memory free space

running AIM i notice it decreases,

but for the WSJ app just posted, when its running it doesn't seem to lower the app memory. It seems to fluctuate on its own. Anyone have suggestions?

You need at least 10-12MB of File Free memory for your BB to operate correctly. Certain apps will require some, none or a lot of memory just like your PC. Keeping you BB's memory "clean" helps out.

How should we keep the memory clean? I notice a considerable decrease in memory and then after a battery pull i am back up to 37, but it will dwindle down to 12 or so...

There are many things you can do...
Close out of programs the right way
    Clean your Memory Log
    Delete apps you rarely use

    Basic memory maintenance.

Also, do an advanced title search on "How to Increase Memory..." as I have a broken link to it.

Search Forums (pull down)> Advanced Search > Keyword Search (By Titles Only)
