Hi all having downloaded a lot of hd movie trailers to my pc using apple quicktime pro from apples legit movie trailer site, are these able to play on my storm without conversion or getting around the lock like they place on the full movies in tunes store

It should be fine because apple likes using the H.264 codec which the storm plays fine. I would still convert the file to optimize it for the storm and shrink the size of the file.

well half sorted...the movie saves in fantastic quality however theres no audio..wierd... im going to try to convert the files throu xilisoft into movie mp4 format see if that works

fwiw, I get the apple trailers pushed to me through "podtrapper" - they play fine - I don't get the HD versions though

A lot of the trailers on the site have an iPod option could you not just download it?

I downloaded through iTunes and just copied them to the videos folder on my card. Worked perfectly for me.

i wish there was a app like this for the storm. i know the iphone has one called showtime which gives you movie showtimes and the option to watch the trailer in hd. i have to save movie fone to my book marks on my browser just to get the listings and if i dont remember the movie i got to go over to you tube and watch the trailer. i guess i just got to wait for this app
