I have loaded about 45 files so far still up and running just wondering if anyone has tried loading yet.

This is not a through a brick at the a Nobody just curious who is giving it a try before the first hybrid is posted for the S2.

Install .607 on your PC.
replace your .607 Java with the attached ".607/.692" Java:

Working good so far romman, thank you.

The only quirk that I have is not being able to pause music or control volume while screen is locked.

Any chance you know what file can fix this? Can anyone confirm this?

I am glad it worked for you.
I know that since the .5XX, we have issues with the lock screen. even with premium lock applications. The music player pauses, stops and plays music without any issue. but being able to control it with the screen locked, I don't know a way out.
May be OOAKDPC or lyricidal, or any hybrid builder has a fix I can add it later.
We will see.

I don't use BBM groups, but I know that this issue has to do with the .607 radio and can not be fixed with a hybrid. Hopefully I am mistaking.

You would be using the same radio file that is on your s2 now, no change. If you change the radio it would be from .607 build or lower made for your s2

Thanks for the reply. It seems like the radio file on the 9550 is much weaker than I experienced with my old curve. I was hoping there was going to be an alternative to the current and past files to the 9550.

Are there still all the same bugs as .607? If so, why hybridize? I know this is why people use previous version radio files in their hybrids for this reason

There are two kinds of bugs carried with each Blackberry OS.
The bugs in the radio (here we can do nothing but swap the radio)
And the hugs in the java cod's. (here a hybrid may increase performance, fix applications problem, increase battery life...etc).
