Does the storm come with a "film" over the screen. I can see what looks like a bubble on the screen. It is transparent except for the bubble... Thanks for the help....

When I got my Storm, I had a thin film over the screen. I am not sure if this is installed by RIM or Verizon but it was a little crooked so I just removed it.

get a reuseable screen protector and then remove it...scratches happen and you don't want them to be permanent. Good luck

LoL...well, i hate to be "that guy" but have you *ever* bought an electronic device in the last 5 years? Typically every phone, camera, tv, dvd player, cable box..etc...... came with a "protective film" on the plastic bits that house the led's, digital readout, display, etc....

So, yes, i'm going to assume that yours was like mine, it came with the protective film (which isn't a screen protector per se). Mine stayed on for a few weeks actually, then i replaced it with a proper screen protector....and switch those out whenever i beat mine up to much, or it bubbles up, gets dirt under it.... la dee da...

You can browse the forums and pick a screen protector you like, or go naked...it's your phone.

    hope that helped!

Yes, some have more than one protector in the phone when it first arrives. You can peel them off and replace if you want. I put a Verizon screen protector on the day mine arrived, November 26, and it is still on the phone, no scratches.
