    Try this:

media > BB button > explore > You should see 3 folders:

    Media Card

    Device Memory

    System

Well highlight one and hit the BB button and then select properties.

    I have:

Device Memory: 1.02% used 9.0MB file usage 879.2MB total size

System: 0.00% used 10.0KB file usage 99.7MB total size

It's a different breakdown then check the memory via options.

There will be tomorrow. It is called QuickLaunch. The application will let you add multiple applications and everything else on your BB to one application. Then you push one button and see your choice on a list. Its the most usefull app I've seen yet.

Hold down your back button and simultaneously tap the top left and right corners of your screen: right, left, right left... It brings up the help screen.

QuickLaunch (releasing sometime today) has a Device Info shortcut that will do this in one click.

Check the 3rd Party Apps sub Forums for more details.

Wow...if I have to go with that instead of my wallpaper to run QuickLaunch....well, I guess I'd rather go without.

Seriously...if the people who developed Quicklaunch are reading this, I will gladly design something better han that for free. And by better, I mean a high definition background with no Comic Sans text...dang.

Agreed. I like the idea, but there is ZERO chance that will be on my bb unless it becomes an icon or a shortcut.

    Yikes that bg is hideous.

QuickLaunch is NOT the back-ground. It is the little window on the background. Whatever background you have is what you see. In the example picture posted, you are just looking at someone's background. It pops up, it goes away. That is the whole point. Check it out and you will see that it really works well. I just did and ended up licensing it. Enjoy!

Wait...I understand that the background with the text won't be there, but is that icon for the application going to sit in the middle of my home screen or is it a part of the background image?

It looks like you will have to get it and see. It is without a doubt the best upgrade to the UI that is out. Should have been included in OS build for free.

The QuickLaunch program does not change your wallpaper or run in the background or anything else offensive. You run it either by convenience key
or by clicking on the icon and a menu pops up. You make a selection on the menu and the App or function you selected is opened and the QuickLaunch menu goes away.
