i'm for it. scrolling is a pain on this thing and honestly im still shocked that the storm doesnt have it when they know they're customers are ppl who use email and prolly have a inbox full of stuff they have to scroll thru
However, if you are really jonesing for a flick scroll fix, you can experience how it would feel in the AP Mobile News application. It's not quite as smooth an implementation as on the iPhone, but it's the best I have seen on the Storm so far.

Reason: Typo.
I have no doubt that at some point RIM will add their own improved scrolling method; but just like the SurePress touch screen it will be something innovative and different.
It wont be in the next official release, though. Right now RIM needs to concentrate on overall stability, speed, and making sure all of the existing features work well. Once that is done they can focus on adding new things (and then be in a better position to deal with the invariable bugs that will come along with it).
they need to just DO IT and make EVERYBODY happy already!
What good is flick scrolling if you have broken MMS, FSOD/Memory Card Errors, and an overall buggy OS. Let them focus on the essentials first and work on refinements later.
