Am I missing something? I see people running 113 on their 9530 yet on the top of the page, it only shows 113 for the 9500. I have 122 on now but, its been a bit buggy so far. Still gonna give it a shot and see if its just from the initial shock. It works great but, it has locked up twice so far.

Anyway, if someone can explain the 113 on a 9530 that would be great! I dread going back to 75 if 122 fails to work out.

I am in the same boat as previous writer regarding O2 / Vodaphone and have already deleted the "Vender .XML" file. My understanding is that I complete the download to the PC, connect the Storm after deleting previous o/s than install new such as .122 without being connected to the internet, followed by again deleting the "Vender .XML" file? Please advise if I am correct in my assumption.

Many thanks for your valued help and assistance.

    Hello,
New fodder to the BB world, and of course to CB. An excellent resource, one that confirmed my need for a BB and answered many of the questions I had.

I've ordered a Storm on Vodaphone (UK) and it will be delivered on Tuesday. Since it's a new, unused device it would be a good point in time to upgrade it before I start using it.

Panday51, did you upgrade your device? Did it work, any problems that you're aware of so far?

    Regards, David.

I went to the official upgrade site on Blackberry and 111 is the official for voda not 122 am I looking at the wrong place? and what would happen if I used the Hutchinson 122?
Is it worth changing 4.7.0.78 to 4.7.0.111?
    Please someone tell me . . .
    Thx

My voda 9500 arrived saturday and within 12hrs had been unlocked (I'm on o2) and upgraded to .132
I'd give it a shot from new; no data to worry about and all the good bits to play with ;o)

    You know it makes sense...

Correct, Do Not Use the CDMA file either as it is for the 9530 not the 9500 GSM.

Well I got my Vodaphone (UK) Storm today which was running 4.7.0.78. I downloaded the .131 leaked release from the ALL Leaked posting. I install DM, backed up the device. Closed DM. Installed the .131 OS. Went to "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader" and ran the Loader.exe file. Proceeded through the install on the device, took about 10 minutes. The device rebooted and it seems to be fine. Confirmed v4.7.0.131 (Platform 4.0.0.158). DM runs fine and talks to device.

    It all seems ok.

The only issue I have right now is that I'm waiting for my number to port which won't happen until tomorrow so I can't go online or make\receive calls with it until then.
