I know the answer may be here but with 22 pages I don't have time to look. Do I have to be on .75 in order to upgrade. I am running leaked .113 and I am a Bell Subscriber. Will I need to Downgrade to .75 is my basic question.
Does anyone know when Verizon is supposed to put out the next official upgrade? I heard it was supposed to be on March 31st but the day came around and nothing.

No one knows. If you take a second to read even one page of the forums, or ven a few pages of this thread, all you will find is speculation, and a lot of people talking to VZW reps, etc. All we can do is wait.
There are parts of the OS's that can be used interchangably, the Java files, I believe, but you can't just load the whole OS built for a 9500 onto a 9530 or vice versa.
Could anyone please answer me this... I have Storm 9500 and my carrier is Vodafone Greece and my OS is .100
I want to update to .113 but from what I saw .113 is being released by some other carrier....Do I need to update specificaly from my carrier or I can use a different carrier OS realease? I mean if I use Verizon's OS release will it work for me being a Vodafone Greece user?
Just my humble opinion, but I am loving the .114 v3 OS that I have been running for about a week now. Very few bugs especially considering all of the improvements it has from .75
I'm a packrat when it comes to my SMS. Will is be lost in the upgrade (I am aware that I can back it up, but how does it get restored? Does it look the same way it does pre-update)?

Thanks!
Make sure to BACKUP first before ANY updating. Then once the update is complete, you can restore contacts, SMS, MMS, etc. in DM.
And yes, they will all look the same as they did before the update.
