My alarm didn't go off this morning!
Tried setting it - no alarm icon
Battery pull - no alarm icon

This is after a series of splash screen lockups, phone turning off (not resetting), and media card issues - NONE of which occurred with .83.
I am going back to .83

Any thoughts on the alarm?

the same think happened to me this morning... i may go back to .75 cause i also keep getting the verizon screen of death..i also noticed my auto on and off does not work

.75 did the same thing on the alarm!
It turns out that it is the "Weekday" setting that is bum.
I am going from .75 to .83 again.
I had 51mb of mem in .83 versus 43mb in .75 with the same settings - to me it's worth it.

I will do a WIPE when .85/.86 goes official - lol

I use my Storm for my daily alarm and have yet to have an issue with it not going off using any of the official or leaked 4.7 firmwares. Currently on .85.

Did you do a clean install of .85? I have no issues with my alarm on a clean install
