    Sorry for the stupid question, but isn't the Storm supposed to run on Verizon's 3G network?

    My Storm shows "1XEV" on the front screen upper right... isn't it supposed to say "3G" when it's on the 3G network? The browser is also very slow.

    Not a stupid question. The network is 3g. You don't have to do anything ot activate it. It will say 1xev - don't worry about it. You're good.

    my curve says 1xev too...and it's not 3g.
