I was using .75 on my storm for the first month or so with my storm. I finally took the plunge and downloaded .99 eariler this week. For about the first day everything was fast. But now some things have slowed down miserably. The lock/unlock button takes 3 seconds (I timed it). The internet is the same speed as .75 and when I listen to music and try to navigate through the phone everything slows down. Oh and by the way I never had any of these problems on .75
Its basically just like every other leak. Performance and results will be different for everyone and seeing as how these aren't official releases we can't say much about it. They aren't intended for mass distribution, to a certain extent at least. Personally, albeit a few things, my experience with .99 has been awesome. I definitely would use it over .75 anyday.
Make sure you're actually closing applications and not just leaving everything open. You *DON'T* use the red end button to close applications! That leaves them all open in the background. Hold down the BB Menu button and see how many apps you have open.

there is an easier way. Just press and HOLD down the back button it closes the app out
not exactly. When you press and hold the back button. In will close non-active apps. For active apps you need to use the close command or stop the active functions.
To the OP, when you do a batt pull do you have a few more days of fast speed or is it always slow now?
