I have had my new to me refurb for almost 2 months now. I am running the current .591/692 hybrid from lyricidal.
I have noticed that my battery does not last long when I make phone calls. On a 20 minute call I will lose 10% or more. Is this normal? That is 1% for every 2 minutes on a phone call.
I did get a new battery last week, because it seemed worse than that. I did try to go back to the 419(484)/692 hybrid, but the battery life was similar. I did run this new battery down to 0% then recharged it from AC power.
I think pretty much everyone's battery life has gotten worse since 5.0 was launched. Lot of reports of it on here and I know mine has, although I can usually make the whole day without recharging. I got a new battery too and it made now difference so still using the old one....
Any build of .591 is a battery killer, I went from a .419 hybrid to one with .591 & my battery drains a lot quicker than before. Try downgrading to a .419 hybrid & the life of your battery should be noticably better.
The problem has not gone away. Last night I lost 25% battery after a 12 minute phone call. I'm not doing anything wrong. They suggested I switch from "Global" to "1XEV." I was already at 1XEV.
Called VZW, New Storm on the way. We'll see what happens.
