Just finished shrinking all the files I don't need out and installed the new OS. I found that BBM was still listed as Core app. Wiping and installing again without BBM. What, again, do you edit in Blackberry.alx to remove the BBM install?
Edit: Never mind, I just found the line to change true to false in Blackberry.alx to remove the install of BBM in Core.
Both loader files will be on your computer if you haven't uninstalled .591 from the control panel.
(If that's what you mean...)
If you go to access your Java folder (for hybrids) there are AMEA .591 & EastAsia .685. Each one of those files contain Java folders. On other os's there was only one file which in turn was only one Java folder. To see what I mean go to:
Start>My Computer>Local Disk ( C: )>Program files>Common files>Research in Motion>Shared>Loader files
This is where you normally see one os file but this one has 2.
those patches are just for the 9500 and 9520 not for the 9530 i believe
I don't think so or Lyric would've stated so in his initial post, I even followed the link to BBHybrids and he states nothing over there either that it's specifically for the 9500/9520

once i finish fixing the handwriting patch ill try that and report back. the camera is not really that bad. but ill give the fix a shot
the fix is moreso for the buttons to show back up again lol
also about the patches in the first post - they are for 95x0 users to add the Chinese handwritten input to the OS they are on now. It is already included in .685 for 9530, but not for any other devices.

Its for Chinese language only - its apart of the CJK.alx (Chinese, Japanese, Korean input)
You'd have to install that and even still I don't know if it'd work for English language
